From time to time throughout my tenure in manifeste schooling, I have obtained email messages or paperwork on what might be wrong with American training. Each and every new thought generally is accompanied with the excellent resolution for our academic crisis.
Most lately, I obtained an email from a very good teacher good friend of mine, who shared the "Blueberry Story." Primarily this metaphorical story stresses that, in contrast to business and companies like ice cream manufacturing plants, educational establishments are not able to ship back a bad batch of blueberries. The schools have to take all the little ones with all their restrictions, disabilities and dysfunctional household situations. And they have to satisfy the harsh requirements of "No Kid Left Powering" with that "batch" of kids. No sending them back.
I responded that I liked the story, but I felt the difficulties in general public education were considerably even worse
